Of Grammatology Significant work by Jacques Derrida, translated by Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak. This book would be useful to anyone involved in English graduate studies or anyone interested in philosophy or structuralism. The publisher writes, "Influential enough to have affected the entire French critical scene, Jacques Derrida has been hailed as the most important philosopher in France today. The Dialogic Imagination This is another significant work for someone involved with or interested in English studies and the study of language. Voice Literary Supplement says of this work, "We are only now realizing, 20 years after the first English translation of his work, that Bakhtin is one of the giants of 20th century social and cultural theory."
